Role Overview

We are hiring a Senior HR Officer to lead end-to-end HR functions. This role handles recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, compliance, policy development, and HR operations. The ideal candidate has experience in a start-up and BPO environment and is comfortable building HR processes while being hands-on with day-to-day tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for various roles across the business

• Manage onboarding process and ensure a smooth transition from hiring to deployment

• Develop and run employee engagement programs to support retention

• Draft, update, and implement HR policies and internal guidelines

• Maintain HR records, contracts, and compliance with internal standards

• Act as a point of contact for employee relations and escalate issues when needed

• Work with leadership on headcount planning and talent strategies

• Monitor HR metrics such as turnover, hiring timelines, and engagement levels

• Improve and document HR workflows and procedures

• Support payroll coordination and timekeeping validation with accounting teams

• Handle labor compliance concerns and coordinate with legal when needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–5 years experience in HR with strong focus on recruitment and engagement

• Proven experience in creating and implementing HR policies

• Experience in a start-up or fast-scaling company preferred

• Background in a BPO or outsourcing setup required

• Strong understanding of HR operations, onboarding, and employee relations

• Organized, proactive, and confident in working with leadership teams

• Comfortable handling both strategic and administrative HR tasks

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Work Setup

• Manila-based operations with remote coordination with Canadian team
