About the Role:
As a Collections Officer - Asset Finance, you'll support day-to-day collections and loan servicing tasks, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and great customer outcomes. You'll handle a range of administrative duties, follow up with borrowers, and work closely with agents, lenders, and customers—always with professionalism and empathy.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Administer Commercial Asset Finance Loans for various channels under the client's brand
- Data entry and account maintenance across systems like Tango, MTS, and Finacle
- Issue and process invoices related to mercantile agents
- Generate and email hardship applications, default notices, and arrears letters
- Manage and update the hardship register and send hardship decline notices
- Issue field call instructions and default notice instructions
- Handle inbound written requests (direct debits, hardship, info requests, etc.)
- Liaise with clients and lenders to process variations, direct debit, and transfers
- Make outbound calls to follow up on documentation, insurance claims, hardship applications, etc.
- Conduct outbound collection calls to help borrowers resolve arrears
- Send follow-up emails/SMS and respond to the RAF Collections inbox
- Provide full administrative support to the Collections Team
- Follow internal communication protocols and policies on all customer interactions
- Perform other tasks as required by management to meet business objectives
About You:
- 3–5 years' experience in collections and/or loan administration (Commercial Asset Finance a bonus)
- Excellent written and spoken English
- High attention to detail and organization
- Able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate Excel skills and strong computer literacy
- Strong team player with a can-do attitude
- Customer-first mindset with solid service and negotiation skills
- Able to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of Consumer Credit Code, Privacy Act, or equivalent is a plus
- Experience in a high-volume call centre is desirable
- Empathy, professionalism, and relationship management come naturally to you
