Senior Endpoint & Infrastructure Engineer

We're not just looking for a support engineer; we're looking for an architect of reliability. Our team needs a seasoned expert who owns the endpoint ecosystem - from the hardware on every desk to the network that connects it all. If you're the person colleagues turn to for solving problems that stump everyone else, and you thrive on building systems that prevent those problems in the first place, this is your role.

You will report directly to the Lead IT Operations & Security Engineer and be a cornerstone of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the Endpoint Lifecycle: Architect and manage the entire lifecycle of our workstation fleet, from strategic procurement and seamless deployment to proactive maintenance and strategic end-of-life planning.
  • Build Resilient Systems: Design and maintain our LAN infrastructure. You won't just fix broken cables; you'll diagnose root causes and implement solutions to prevent future outages.
  • Ensure Unshakable Security & Performance: Enforce rigorous maintenance protocols, including patch management (Windows updates), antivirus defenses, and system optimizations to ensure peak performance and security across all endpoints.
  • Master of Continuity: Develop and execute robust backup and failover plans for internet connectivity, guaranteeing operational continuity and data integrity.
  • Solve the Unsolvable: Provide expert-level escalation support, resolving complex issues related to hardware, software, connectivity, and Office365 applications that go beyond tier-one support.

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience in a senior endpoint or desktop support engineering role, where you were the go-to expert.

  • Deep, hands-on expertise in:

  • Computer hardware procurement, imaging, and deployment (e.g., Autopilot, SCCM, Intune).

  • Advanced troubleshooting of Windows OS, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and Office 365 suite.
  • LAN/WAN infrastructure principles and physical network troubleshooting.
  • A track record of creating and improving processes - like lifecycle management or inventory automation - rather than just following them.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a diagnostic mindset that looks for root causes, not just quick fixes.
  • Strong, clear communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to a non-technical audience.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and operate independently during your shift (PST hours).

The Details:

  • This is a full-time, onsite position at our BGC office.
  • Your core working hours will be from 12:00 AM to 9:00 AM Manila Time to align with our Vancouver-based team.
