About the role

Akari Lighting and Technology Corporation is seeking an experienced CCTV Operator to join our team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As a full-time CCTV Operator, you will play a vital role in monitoring and maintaining the security of our client sites through effective surveillance and prompt response to any incidents.

What you'll be doing

  1. Continuously monitor CCTV cameras and security systems to identify and respond to any suspicious activities or potential security breaches
  2. Coordinate with on-site security personnel and report any incidents or concerns to the appropriate authorities in a timely manner
  3. Maintain detailed logs and records of all security-related activities and events
  4. Assist in the review and analysis of CCTV footage to support investigations or provide evidence as needed
  5. Proactively identify areas for improvement in security procedures and make recommendations to management
  6. Ensure the proper functioning of all CCTV and security equipment, and report any technical issues for prompt resolution

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience as a CCTV Operator or in a similar security-related role
  2. Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
  3. Proficiency in operating CCTV systems, security monitoring equipment, and related software
  4. Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with on-site personnel and emergency services
  5. Familiarity with relevant security protocols and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations
  6. Ability to work in a shift-based environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
