The Line Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting the restaurant's signature dishes in accordance with company standards. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that all meals are prepared efficiently, accurately, and consistently to deliver high-quality food and excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including the restaurant's signature dishes, following standardized recipes and portion controls.
  • Ensure all ingredients are properly measured, portioned, and prepared ahead of service to support smooth kitchen operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and sanitation in the assigned work area at all times, adhering strictly to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor and maintain the proper storage and labeling of food items to ensure freshness and quality.
  • Assist in ordering and receiving products and ingredients needed for daily operations, ensuring that inventory levels are sufficient to meet forecasted demand.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks of raw materials and supplies, accurately recording usage and assisting in minimizing food waste.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service, especially during peak hours.
  • Forecast food ingredient requirements based on menu planning, sales trends, and anticipated customer volume.
  • Comply with all company policies, kitchen procedures, and health and safety regulations.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented kitchen environment by maintaining professionalism and cooperation with colleagues.
