The Leasing Officer is responsible for assisting the Leasing Manager in maximizing tenant occupancy and revenue generation in SM malls. This role involves managing tenant contracts, sourcing and negotiating lease agreements, and maintaining strong tenant relationships to ensure high satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lease Management

  • Source, negotiate, and close deals with short-term tenants and exhibitors.

  • Monitor tenant accounts and assess creditworthiness to minimize financial risks.
  • Prepare and consolidate lease documents and ensure accurate system encoding.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with reporting and policy standards.

  • Tenant Relations

  • Maintain positive relationships with tenants to ensure high occupancy and satisfaction.

  • Address tenant concerns and coordinate with relevant departments for resolution.

  • Contract Administration

  • Coordinate with Lease Admin for creation, renewal, and amendment of lease contracts.

  • Draft and finalize Terms of Reference and Lease Agreements.
  • Disseminate management approval memos and ensure proper communication with tenants.

  • Marketing & Promotion

  • Assist in preparing marketing materials and presentations for client pitches and site tours.

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to support leasing strategies.

  • Training & Development

  • Participate in training initiatives and contribute as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).


Job Specification:
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accountancy, Management Accounting, Financial Management, Marketing, or any related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in leasing, property management, real estate, or sales administration.
  • Preferably with experience in mall operations or retail leasing.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Above-average communication skills (oral and written).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and leasing systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Customer-focused and able to build strong client relationships.
  • Integrity, dependability, and accountability.
