JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling financial records, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring accurate and timely entry of transactions into the accounting system.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Invoice and Credit Note Processing

Ensure all invoices and credit notes follow the correct workflow and are accurately entered into the accounting system.

  • Credit Card Reconciliation

Match credit card receipts to statements and ensure accurate recording in the accounting system.

  • Staff Reimbursements

Process employee expense claims in compliance with company policies and timelines.

  • Supplier Statement Reconciliation

Reconcile supplier statements, investigate outstanding invoices, and liaise with suppliers to resolve discrepancies.

  • Supplier Onboarding

Perform phone verifications and due diligence when setting up new suppliers to ensure compliance and data accuracy

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in accounts payable or finance support roles
  • Familiarity with accounting systems and workflows
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools
