1. Key Account Management & Business Growth

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive sales growth and strengthen the Modern Trade Accounts partnership.

  • Maintain and enhance relationships with key decision-makers/buyers at Modern Trade Accounts to ensure effective collaboration and long-term business expansion.

  • Identify opportunities to introduce new SKUs and expand the product portfolio for food and non-food categories.

  • Analyze key account data and market trends to implement innovative programs and promotional strategies.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to align trade marketing initiatives with Modern Trade Accounts needs.

2. Distribution & Merchandising Excellence

  • Conduct regular store visits to ensure compliance with merchandising standards, product availability, and trade execution.

  • Ensure On-Shelf Availability (OSA) and optimize Must-Stock Lists (MSL) to maximize product visibility and accessibility.

  • Collaborate with the Sales Admin Group for accurate order encoding and seamless delivery coordination.

  • Work with Watsons to execute strategic distribution plans and improve product placement for increased sales.

3. Sales & Trade Marketing Execution

  • Implement high-impact trade promotions and in-store activations to boost sales performance.

  • Analyze sales data to assess promotion effectiveness and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.

  • Ensure trade marketing efforts align with overall brand strategies and category growth initiatives.

  • Develop and recommend customer-centric marketing campaigns based on Watson's consumer behavior and buying trends.

4. Accounts Receivable & Financial Compliance

  • Oversee official receipt (OR) validation and ensure compliance with Watson's financial processes.

  • Enforce OR remittance policies and monitor deductions to maintain financial accuracy.

  • Implement strategic trade promotions with proper budget allocation and approval.

5. Inventory & Bad Order Management

  • Coordinate with Watsons for trade returns, bad order pick-ups, and stock clean-ups to maintain efficient inventory turnover.

  • Ensure proper execution of the Bad Order Policy, keeping trade return rates within acceptable levels.

  • Work closely with supply chain teams to prevent stock shortages and excess inventory.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience handling FMCG products within Modern Trade Accounts, including (SM, Robinsons, Puregold, 711, Watsons, Landers, S&R, etc.).

  • Possession of a valid driver's license is required.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential.
