The Business Development Specialist helps manage the whole process of opening new stores, relocating, or renovating. This includes finding sites, assisting with lease negotiations, and coordinating with different teams. The role reports to the Business Development Manager and ensures projects are completed on time and follow company standards. The job requires strong skills in analysis, communication, and project coordination.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Visit and study possible sites for new stores, relocations, or expansions.
  • Do market research, competitor checks, and prepare reports to guide site selection.
  • Coordinate with brokers, landlords, and government offices for site offers, permits, and lease papers.
  • Assist in lease negotiations by collecting documents, reviewing proposals, and tracking terms.
  • Work with internal teams (Legal, Finance, Operations, Construction, Merchandising) to align on expansion needs.
  • Track project timelines to make sure stores open on schedule.
  • Keep store expansion records, trackers, and reports updated.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for management approval.
  • Review store openings to get feedback and suggest improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Urban Planning, or related course.
  • 2–3 years' experience in store development, leasing, or project coordination (retail experience is an advantage).
  • Good analytical skills and understanding of site assessment and lease terms.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and people skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge in GIS or real estate tools is a plus.
  • Can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to travel for site visits, meetings, and coordination.

WORK ARRANGEMENT:

  • Monday to Friday (On-site)
  • 8am-6:30pm, 9am-7:30pm, or 10am-8:30pm
  • Located in Bagumbayan Libis QC, near Eastwood.
