Job Title: Inventory Data Controller

Location: San Jose Ilo Ilo City

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Data Controller to join our team. The Inventory Data Controller will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing stock levels, and ensuring the integrity of data related to inventory control. The ideal candidate will have strong data management skills, experience with inventory systems, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records in the system, ensuring all stock levels are correct and reflect actual inventory.
  • Monitor and track inventory movements, including incoming and outgoing stock, stock transfers, and returns.
  • Perform regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, stock levels, and potential issues such as overstock or stock outs.
  • Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure inventory is correctly labeled, stored, and handled.
  • Assist in inventory forecasting by analyzing historical data and current trends.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and procurement teams to ensure inventory levels meet demand without overstocking.
  • Update and maintain the inventory management system, ensuring all new stock arrivals and product movements are entered accurately.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies or errors in inventory data and report findings to the relevant departments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory control and data accuracy.
  • Provide support in the preparation of monthly and yearly inventory reports for senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in inventory control, data management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to handle and process large volumes of data efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with various departments.
  • Basic understanding of supply chain operations and inventory control best practices.
  • Experience with barcode scanning and RFID systems is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Office and warehouse environment, with occasional time spent in the warehouse to verify stock levels or assist with physical counts.
  • May be required to work occasional evenings or weekends based on inventory needs or reporting schedules.
  • Fast-paced work environment with frequent use of computers and data systems.
