GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Supply Planning Officer is responsible for ensuring efficient inventory control and supply planning at the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) level. This role involves managing stock levels, coordinating sales orders, processing delivery orders, and ensuring smooth logistics operations. The officer plays a key role in supply planning, inventory level monitoring, and transportation planning to ensure accurate and timely product movement while optimizing costs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supply Planning

  • Ensure strict adherence to inventory control and supply planning responsibilities.
  • Develop and maintain stock replenishment plans based on sales trends.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory availability at the RDC.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts, reconcile variances, and submit reports promptly.
  • Prepare and submit Stock Replenishment Forms (SRFs) based on demand forecasts and inventory movement.
  • Consolidate and coordinate approved defective product disposal in compliance with company policies.

Order & Delivery Management

  • Generate Pick List based on validated Sales Orders.
  • Ensure completeness of information related to delivery such as Name of Client, Contact Number, Hub, MFI Branch and Center).
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of Delivery Orders (DOs) for dispatch.
  • Collaborate with the regional sales and operations team to align inventory demands.
  • Monitor and address potential order fulfillment challenges to avoid stockouts or delays.

Last Mile Logistics Coordination

  • Ensure smooth coordination of inventory movement between the RDC and hubs.
  • Identify the most suitable transportation modes based on hub volume and delivery schedules.
  • Align fulfillment accuracy with transportation planning to optimize costs and efficiency.
  • Support warehouse teams in streamlining logistics operations for on-time deliveries.
  • Communicate clearly with field operations on expected deliveries and resolve any issues related to shortages or damages.

Other Duties as Assigned

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the immediate manager.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in inventory planning, preferably in a fast-paced or development sector environment.

CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in supply planning, inventory management, logistics planning and order management.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
