ROLE PURPOSE:

Our Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible in assisting the Inventory Manager and Associate in the preparation of various monthly and quarterly regional reports for Distribution Center {DC}. Providing regular updates to DC management regarding KPIs, ROS​

This role focuses on:

  • Leading cycle counts & stocktake activities​
  • Overseeing daily operations related to material/ inventory movements , identify bottleneck and proposed actions​
  • Reviewing all reports submitted by the Inventory Control Associate , ensuring accuracy and providing heads up and recommendations to process owner for any recurring lapses​
  • Ensuring all requested adjustments are investigated and authorized/ valid​
  • Preparing and coordinating with other departments for the needed reports​
  • Establishing tracking and control systems (i.e.FIFO)​
  • Tracking KPIs regularly and ensuring timely issuance of notices to concerned 3PL partners​
  • Assisting in employee recruitment, performance evaluation, promotion, retention activities (competency improvement thru coaching, mentoring , job rotation & the likes)​

Success will depend on

  • Ability to use data systematically in decision making and blends analysis, in solving problems and propose appropriate action/ process improvements​
  • Having good analytical , problem solving skills​ and attention to details​
  • Knowledge on end-to-end warehouse operations​
  • Excellent skill in MS excel and powerpoint​
  • Good Collaboration to ensure that relevant information are shared to improve and deliver better ways of working​
  • Ability to coach/ mentor and improve subordinate's functional competencies​
  • Ability to provide direction to optimize teams' efficiency and productivity​
  • Timely feedback to Inventory Manager any abnormal deviation noticed​
  • Ability to plan and prioritize effectively , delivers short & medium term actions to achieve company goals​

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or any related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in warehouse operations and distribution center management.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control principles
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Applicants must be willing to be assigned in our Watsons Distribution Center, Consolacion Cebu.
