Job Summary:

The Stock Controller is responsible for monitoring, managing, and maintaining accurate inventory levels to ensure smooth operations and availability of materials, supplies, and equipment. The role involves performing administrative tasks related to inventory documentation, coordination with internal departments, and ensuring compliance with company inventory control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update accurate inventory records of all incoming and outgoing stocks.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between system and actual stock.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Purchasing Department for replenishment when needed.
  • Prepare and submit inventory reports, stock summaries, and other related documentation.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of stock items within the warehouse or storage area.
  • Verify deliveries and inspect received items for accuracy and quality.
  • Manage issuance and return of materials, ensuring proper documentation and authorization.
  • Support administrative functions, including filing inventory documents, encoding data, and assisting in report generation.
  • Coordinate with other departments (Accounting, Operations, and Admin) to ensure proper flow of inventory information.
  • Ensure compliance with company inventory policies, safety procedures, and audit requirements.
  • Perform other administrative and inventory-related tasks that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
