About the Role

De Castro Consulting is seeking a
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
to join our client as an
Accounting Manager
. The role oversees daily accounting operations, ensures financial accuracy and compliance, and provides strategic financial insights to leadership. You'll lead the accounting team, strengthen internal controls, and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage general ledger, payables/receivables, payroll, reconciliations, and month/year-end closing.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, tax laws, and internal control standards.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Partner with senior management on budgeting, audits, and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead process improvements and automation to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Certification:
    Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience:
    3–5 years in accounting or finance, with demonstrated supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Skills:
    Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS, financial reporting, and Excel; proficiency in QuickBooks or ERP systems.
  • Core Competencies:
    Analytical mindset, leadership, attention to detail, integrity, and strong communication skills.
