ABOUT THE ROLE:

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, ever-changing and exciting startup environment, then this is the job for you As an Estimator, you will be reporting to the Operations Manager, the estimator will be responsible for estimating jobs accurately and communicating with our customers when needed. Ensuring there is a high level of accuracy in every quote. This role should have a strong understanding of the market pricing for similar products in the industry. In this role, you'll be working closely with the sales team, as well as other members of the operations department. You'll play a pivotal role in growing our business from day 1 and you'll be able to continuously share your ideas with us.

Responsibilities:

  • Process quotes while ensuring the quality of the product (utilizing preferred suppliers), competitive pricing, and service levels are met while exceeding customer expectations
  • Communicate with customers to ensure that specs are met and resolve any concerns or issues the customers have regarding the quote
  • Communicate with suppliers to ensure material availability and specs
  • Manage quotes with minimal errors and optimal profits
  • Help standardize transportation pricing
  • Set the proper expectations with customers and sales regarding material availability and other details
  • Monitor KPI dashboard for quote conversion
  • Handle any other related tasks not listed above

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years experience in market pricing in construction industry, procurement, engineering or its equivalent.
  • Experience handling International clients or Projects.
  • Experience in estimation jobs accurately and communicating with customers.
  • Ability to handle multiple task.
  • Has an excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience in HubSpot is a PLUS
  • Amenable working in US Time zone (night shift).
