About the Role

Our client, a growing construction business in Victoria, is seeking an Estimator with 3 - 5 years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in take-offs, tenders, and quoting, with practical experience in commercial projects.

Proficiency in CATProjects, Procore or similar is essential. This role requires a solid understanding of Australian building codes, accuracy in cost estimation, and the ability to support the business with competitive and well-prepared tenders. It is essential the successful candidate is able to write and comprehend their methodology without using AI.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare accurate take-offs, tenders, and quotes for commercial projects, and produce comprehensive methodology in their own word without using AI.

· Use CATProjects, Procore or similar to manage estimation and job workflows.

· Interpret building plans, specifications, and related documents.

· Ensure compliance with Australian building codes and standards in all estimates.

· Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to obtain and evaluate quotes.

· Assist in the preparation of budgets, cost plans, and variations.

· Provide support to project teams by delivering timely and detailed cost data.

· Maintain records of costs, supplier pricing, and market trends.

Skills & Experience Required

· 3 to 5 years' experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.

· Proficiency in CATProjects, Procore or similar is required.

· Strong understanding of Australian building codes and compliance requirements.

· Proven ability to complete take-offs, tenders, and quoting accurately.

· Strong attention to detail, numeracy, and analytical skills.

· Excellent communication skills to liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.

· Highly organised, process-driven, and able to manage multiple estimates at once.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php45, Php55,000.00 per month
