Medical Billing Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join an ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) agency. The primary focus of this position is reprocessing denied insurance claims to ensure accurate and timely reimbursements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and reprocess denied or rejected insurance claims.
- Verify patient insurance information and ensure accuracy in claim submissions.
- Submit corrected claims and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to identify denial trends and correct billing errors.
- Maintain compliance with payer guidelines and billing regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in medical billing and insurance claim management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in medical billing software and systems.
- Solid understanding of billing procedures and insurance workflows.
- Direct experience with ABA billing is a strong plus but not required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
