The Opportunity

Zirconia Inc' is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team in Makati City Metro Manila. As a full-time Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality baked goods that delight our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, and other baked goods to the highest standards
  • Develop new recipes and menu items to keep our offerings fresh and innovative
  • Ensure all baked goods are produced efficiently, on time, and to specification
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless operations
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior members of the pastry team

What We're Looking For

  • Several years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong technical skills in pastry production, including a deep understanding of ingredients, techniques, and presentation
  • Creativity and the ability to develop innovative recipes and baked goods
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and mentor/train junior staff
