The Content Creator and Manager develops engaging and strategic content to promote the university's programs, values, and achievements. The role involves writing articles, creating social media content, supporting multimedia projects, and collaborating with various offices to communicate key messages effectively.
Key Responsibilities
• Writes and edits news articles, features, social media content, scripts, and campaign materials.
• Develops clear narratives that amplify the university's identity, initiatives, and impact.
• Guides voice, tone, and language for diverse audience segments (students, alumni, donors, partners).
• Develops and manages editorial calendars and content pipelines aligned with academic and promotional cycles.
• Collaborates with the design, video, and tech teams to ensure visual and multimedia content complements narrative goals.
• Reviews and approves content to ensure alignment with institutional messaging, style, and branding guidelines.
• Monitors performance of content (reach, engagement) and recommends adjustments based on analytics and feedback.
• Manages content contributions from other offices, student writers, or volunteer creatives, where applicable.
• Responsible for performing all other duties necessary to accomplish the projects of the iCOMMP Office and as assigned by the iCOMMP Director.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
Experience in content creation, editorial work, managing content calendars, campaigns, editorial workflows, or communications is a plus.
Exceptional writing and editing skills in English and Filipino, with a portfolio of published content
Strong grasp of content strategy, branding, and audience engagement across digital and print platforms
Proficiency in social media platforms, content management systems (e.g., WordPress), and basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite)
Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments and lead creative coordination
Attention to detail, with strong organizational and project management abilities
