Accounting Associate / Bookkeeper

Davao City | Hybrid or On-site | Full-time

About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Associate / Bookkeeper to join our growing Finance Team. You'll help manage day-to-day financial operations, reconciliations, and reporting — ensuring accurate records and supporting our management and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· Maintain and organize Official Receipts (ORs) and supplier invoices

· Record and reconcile transactions, including GCash, HitPay, PayPal, and credit card payments

· Update and manage schedules for depreciation, accruals, and amortization

· Handle supplier payables and utility payments (PLDT, Davao Light, etc.)

· Reconcile cash and bank accounts monthly

· Maintain accurate QuickBooks records and assist with reports and quotations and pricing for customers and clients.

· Suggest improvements to accounting workflows and documentation processes

· Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration

· –2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply)

· Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets

· Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

· Able to manage multiple deadlines and work independently

Preferred Skills

· Experience in e-commerce or small business accounting (e.g., Shopify)

· Familiarity with online payment systems (GCash, HitPay, PayPal)

· Strong communication and documentation skills

· Willingness to learn and adapt to digital tools for accounting automation
