Social Media Manager

Marketing Team - Remote / Offshore

Overview:

We're seeking an experienced and highly communicative Social Media Manager to oversee and grow our brand's presence across multiple social media platforms. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and excellent communicator who can plan, execute, and optimise content and campaigns to drive engagement, brand awareness, and community growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand and marketing objectives.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging content (posts, stories, videos, etc.) that aligns with the brand's voice and tone.
  • Write compelling copy and captions that effectively communicate key messages and engage audiences.
  • Monitor analytics and performance metrics to evaluate success and optimise strategies.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with design, content, and marketing teams to ensure consistent branding.
  • Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and platform updates.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent English communication skills — both written and verbal — with strong attention to tone, grammar, and clarity.
  • 2+ years of experience in social media management for a brand, agency, or client.
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms, content best practices, and audience engagement.
  • Experience using social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts or projects simultaneously.
  • Creative mindset and ability to adapt content to different platforms and audiences.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience running and monitoring paid social campaigns.
  • Basic knowledge of design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express, or Photoshop).
  • Familiarity with influencer outreach or community management.
