About the role

Akari Lighting and Technology Corporation is seeking a skilled Accounting Officer to join our dynamic team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and reporting. As the Accounting Officer, you will be responsible for a range of accounting tasks that are essential to the success of our growing organization.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, to ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Provide support and guidance to the finance team on accounting-related matters
  • Participate in the implementation of new accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's financial controls and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the technology or manufacturing industry
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Sage
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting principles, standards, and regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
