You'll play a key role supporting our client in Australia in providing exceptional bookkeeping services to their business.

The role needs strong communication skills and ability to work in a cross-cultural environment. The role is expected to have regular and independent communication with management, peers in finance and other functions/business.

You'll need to be pro-active, have a client-focused mind and create and maintain strong and effective relationships with the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping
  • Reconciling the bank accounts and requesting missing invoices
  • Reviewing the profit and loss and balance sheet for irregularities and ensuring it is in line with expectations of the client
  • Delivering all the above within the agreed timescales and working towards the bookkeeping diary
  • Maintain and update all facets of client's accounting records including data entry, reconciliation of bank, credit card, loan and accounts
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable if necessary
  • Communicate and timely follow‐up of information required
  • Ensure client accounts are always up to date

Requirements:

  • Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping.
  • Proficient in using Xero Accounting Software.
  • Prior experience in preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS) is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail with solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized and able to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks independently.
  • Must have a stable internet connection for a
    work-from-home arrangement
    . The designated work area must be in a private room, separate from shared spaces used by other household members.
  • Must be amenable to work onsite in our office in Eastwood, Quezon City once a month.

Location:
Global One Building, Eastwood, Libis, Quezon City

Schedule:
Monday to Friday, AU
(7:00 AM to 3:00 PM MNL)

Work Arrangement:
Hybrid (once a month onsite)
