About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team at Handling Innovation, Inc.'. As the Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial accounting and reporting functions for our company. This is a full-time position based in Paranaque City Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
  2. Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements
  3. Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to provide strategic insights to the leadership team
  4. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
  5. Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance
  6. Collaborate cross-functionally to improve financial processes and controls
  7. Participate in special projects and ad-hoc tasks as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  2. CPA passer is required
  3. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Accounting Manager role, preferably in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  4. Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
  7. Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
  8. Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems
