About the role

Are you an experienced Accounting Manager looking to take the next step in your career? As the Accounting Manager at Prozone Xpress Logistics Inc.', you will be responsible for overseeing all financial accounting and reporting activities for this full-time, office-based role in Paranaque City Metro Manila. Working closely with the wider finance team, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the company's financial records are maintained to the highest standard.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and oversee the full accounting cycle, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, handles admin and billing.
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making
  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of accounting professionals
  • Act as a strategic business partner, collaborating cross-functionally to drive the company's financial objectives

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, ideally within the logistics/freight forwarding industry
  • Proven track record of managing and leading an accounting team
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office suite
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional accounting certification (CPA, CA, or ACCA) is highly desirable but not required
