About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team at BENSON INDUSTRIAL COLD STORAGE INC.' Based in Paranaque City Metro Manila, this full-time role will oversee all aspects of the company's financial accounting and reporting. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records and supporting strategic decision-making.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end close processes
  2. Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide timely and accurate reporting to senior management
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies
  4. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficient accounting practices
  5. Supervise and develop the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
  6. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to support business objectives
  7. Contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies and initiatives

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. CPA qualification or equivalent professional certification
  3. Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably in the financial accounting and reporting industry
  4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights
  6. Proficient in the use of accounting software and data analysis tools
  7. Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills
  8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
