Job Description:

RESPONSIBLE DELIVERABLE

Develop, analyse and recommend through in-depth understanding of the financial reports and general ledger structure.

Prepare and produce monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc reports as required

Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end closing and submissions.

Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.

Ensure Organization wide compliance to all accounting policy and procedure

Ensures renewal of annual licenses such barangay permit, mayor permit

Maintains and organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions

Over see the accounting clerk in the daily banking requirement and handling of non-routine reporting transactions.

Ensure the Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.

Supports budget, cash management and forecasting activities.

Collaborates with the management to support overall department goals and objectives.

Supervise, direct and review all the work of the accounting officers (AR and AP) and clerk

Monitors and analyses department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Work with the other department heads to ensure a clean and timely year-end audit.

Coordinates and resolves issues with BIR in case of any compliance issues

Conceptualize the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.

Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.

Work with each direct report to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advice on the progress to enhance the professional development of staff

Qualifications:

EDUCATION: Graduate of BS Accountancy; with an emphasis in Accounting

RELATED EXPERIENCE: Three (3) to five (5) years prior supervisory experience in the financial reporting / general ledger area. Experience working in a Pharmaceutical firm is advantage
