About the Role

Sunbeams Impex Inc. and Sunbeams Lifestyle OPC are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance/Accounting Manager to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing the overall financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and implementing effective financial strategies to support business goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Accountant (minimum 5 years).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial regulations.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in accounting systems (e.g., BUSY, QuickBooks, or similar software).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Key Responsibilities

  1. Accounting Operations Oversight

  2. Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll processes.

  3. Ensure transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with company policies.

  4. Manage and coordinate with the finance team to meet department deadlines.

  5. Deposit and Cash Management

  6. Oversee check deposits and post-dated check (PDC) verifications.

  7. Ensure timely reconciliation of petty cash and bank accounts.

  8. Maintain accurate deposit and cash transaction records.

  9. Accounts Receivable and Payable

  10. Monitor AR aging, collections, and overdue payments.

  11. Coordinate with customers and suppliers for timely settlements.
  12. Review and approve payment vouchers and ensure proper documentation.

  13. Manage petty cash, cash disbursement journals, and monthly payables updates.

  14. Financial Reporting and Compliance

  15. Prepare financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

  16. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  17. Ensure compliance with financial laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.

  18. Manage internal audits and implement strong internal controls.

  19. Strategic and Regulatory Management

  20. Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve company goals.

  21. Handle government permits, tax filings, and intellectual property renewals.
  22. Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and other financial service providers.

  23. Advise management on financial trends, opportunities, and risks.

  24. E-Commerce Financial Accounts

  25. Oversee financial entries and reconciliations for all e-commerce platforms.

  26. Verify payments, monitor settlements, and maintain sales and expense reports.

  27. Manage documentation and monthly reconciliation of online transactions.

  28. Administrative and Legal Coordination

  29. Coordinate with logistics and other departments on financial documentation.

  30. Handle overdue account cases and file complaints in line with company policy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50, Php60,000.00 per month
