Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Following up NPD (New Product/New Process Development) for any new innovative products/processes. Design and develop the products/ processes and equipment used and qualification.
  2. Reach the department objectives/KPIs and cooperate with concerned people to create Action-Plan in order to achieve the Objectives.
  3. Apply new approaches and techniques to design.
  4. Assist with technical queries and decision making
  5. Work with the Production and QA team to qualify new materials/new processes Card Production and Service Bureau.
  6. Follow security rules such as PCI-PCI-CP, SAS-GSMA, etc.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Working Relationships

  1. Working collaboratively with the team members particularly, operations, processes, quality, purchasing, etc., to align on product development objectives and meet and exceed target needs.
  2. Coordinate with all production people (Head, supervisors, Leader, Operators) for problem-solving and process improvement.
  3. Coordinate with all machines and maintenance supervisors/Leaders for machine issues.
  4. Coordinate with IPQC, QC Supervisor, and staff for any related issue.

Position-Specific Competence

  1. Electrical/Industrial or equivalent Diploma in Engineering
  2. Have an industrial or process engineer background
  3. Good expertise in products, materials, and production processes.
  4. Strong knowledge of the process and product development in the printing and card industry.
  5. Systematic thinking, flexibility, and patience to work with various people.
  6. Good Command of English both spoken and written.
  7. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
  8. At least 2 years experience in the Process/Electrical/Production field.
