About the role

We are seeking an experienced R&D Supervisor to join our dynamic team at LRI Chroma Asia. As an R&D Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation and product development within our manufacturing operations. This full-time position will be based in our facility in General Trias City, Cavite.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead product research, testing, and development of new paper packaging solutions.
  • Improve existing packaging designs for functionality, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Supervise R&D staff and monitor daily activities and projects.
  • Coordinate with production, sales, and quality teams to align product development with client needs.
  • Evaluate raw materials, equipment, and processes for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare reports and present findings to management.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in a relevant field, such as textile engineering, material science, or product design
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar R&D or product development role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
  • Strong technical expertise preferably in packaging, paper products, or manufacturing
  • Proven track record of developing and launching successful new products
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and team leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information effectively
  • Proficient in the use of CAD software, data analysis tools, and other relevant R&D technologies
