ACCOUNTING OFFICER

Job Description:

  • Analyze financial data and trends to support management reporting and decision-making.
  • Provide accurate financial insights to aid in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Maintain and update accounting records, including journals and ledgers.
  • Collect and organize employee timesheets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Compute employee work hours accurately and consistently.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
  • Track individual and team performance through quality monitoring systems.
  • Enter new employee details into the company database.
  • Work with the HR Manager to gather data for performance improvement programs.
  • Support compliance initiatives and reporting requirements.
  • Assist in drafting and documenting company policies.
  • Help maintain clear and effective communication between the company and employees.
  • Support programs for employee safety, welfare, and wellness.
  • Monitor adherence to quality standards and required formats.
  • Address employee questions regarding compensation, benefits, and deductions.
  • Prepare and distribute employee payslips.
  • Participate in meetings with executive management.
  • Coordinate and negotiate with external service providers.
  • Source providers to enhance and automate financial processes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Accounting Management, Business Administration, Financial Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related field
  • 6 months to 1 year of accounting-related experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Payroll Accountant
  • Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles
  • Proficient in manual bookkeeping, including maintaining non-digital journals and ledgers for receivables and payables (Books of Accounts)
  • Experienced in processing payroll for 80–100 employees
  • Knowledgeable in Labor Laws
  • High level of integrity with the ability to handle confidential information
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Creative with strong writing proficiency
  • Able to work effectively with individuals at all organizational levels
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
  • Skilled at executing tasks while managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to thrive with minimal supervision in dynamic situations
  • Flexible in adapting to change and capable of efficiently setting or adjusting priorities as needed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word – intermediate | Excel – expert)

Equipment Requirements:

  • Laptop/Desktop (at least i3/i5 processor or any equivalent AMD processor with 8 GB RAM)
  • Windows OS: 10 and above
  • Computer headset with noise-cancelling feature
  • HD Webcam
  • Wired internet connection; minimum of 30 mbps DL and 10 mbps UL
  • Software: Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, PDF reader, Anydesk, Discord, Zoom
