Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented PhilHealth CF4 Encoder to join our Finance Division. This role is responsible for accurately encoding clinical data into the PhilHealth CF4 system using Bizbox, ensuring timely and compliant claims processing. The position involves coordination with healthcare professionals to ensure complete and accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Encode patient clinical data into the PhilHealth CF4 system based on medical records and discharge summaries.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff to clarify incomplete or unclear documentation.
  • Review and re-encode CF4 forms for returned or denied claims to support resubmission.
  • Stay updated on PhilHealth policies and system changes related to CF4 encoding.
  • Identify and correct errors in documentation before claim submission.
  • Ensure timely encoding of CF4 forms to meet claim-filing deadlines.
  • Verify compliance with PhilHealth and hospital documentation standards.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a medical or allied health-related course (e.g., Nursing, Health Information Management, Medical Secretarial).
  • Preferably with experience in PhilHealth claims processing or medical records encoding.
  • Knowledgeable in basic medical terminology and ICD-10 coding.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and hospital information systems (HIS).

Performance Expectations

  • Maintain at least 98% accuracy in CF4 encoding.
  • Encode CF4 forms within 24–48 hours post-discharge.
  • Keep claim denial rates at or below 2% per quarter.
  • Complete 100% of assigned CF4 forms based on workload.
  • Ensure 100% on-time submission of CF4 forms.
