ROLE OVERVIEW
This position is responsible for the developing, managing, and implementing strategies and programs for identified key accounts within the Modern Trade Retail and Food Service channels to drive the attainment of volume, market share, and revenue targets. The position also manages the demand planning process, market analytics, and trade marketing activities for covered key accounts to support the attainment of sales volume, market share, and revenue targets.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develops, manages, and implements strategies for the distribution, availability, and visibility of brands and portfolios in identified national and regional key accounts and modern trade channels.
- Oversees the development and growth of beverage category in the modern trade channels to ensure profitability.
- Manages the implementation of strategies driving availability and merchandising visibility in modern trade channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key modern trade accounts, negotiating terms and conditions to optimize mutual business outcomes.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities and threats and formulate appropriate action plans.
- Ensures that market and customer insights, sales targets, and historical performance of key accounts are properly analyzed and considered in the preparation of a reliable and sound demand plan that drives the attainment of business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, generate reports, and present insights to senior management regularly.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes to ensure the company remains competitive and compliant.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- At least
15 years
of professional experience in account management and marketing in a fast-moving consumer goods company, at least
7 years
of which in a managerial capacity. - Expertise in key accounts management, business and channel development, and market and customer insights.
- Strong understanding of modern trade dynamics, market trends, and customer preferences.
- Proven track record of success in a leadership role within the
FMCG / beverage industries, particularly in modern trade. - Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret and utilize data for business insights.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
