Position Summary
The Schedule Coordinator is responsible for organizing, managing, and maintaining project schedules to ensure smooth operations and timely project completion. This position serves as a key communication hub between departments, field teams, and clients—balancing multiple priorities and coordinating the flow of information to keep all stakeholders aligned. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, update, and manage project schedules for installations, inspections, and service appointments.
- Coordinate with internal departments including design, permitting, interconnection, procurement, and project management to align timelines.
- Schedule field crews, subcontractors, and inspections based on project readiness and resource availability.
- Communicate scheduling updates, delays, and changes to all relevant parties promptly.
- Track project progress and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate shifting priorities or unforeseen issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in scheduling software and project management systems.
- Ensure that project milestones and deadlines are met by proactively identifying and resolving potential scheduling conflicts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal scheduling inquiries and field coordination.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly scheduling reports for management review.
- Collaborate with warehouse, logistics, and procurement teams to confirm material availability before scheduling installations.
- Support project closeout activities by confirming completion milestones and updating tracking systems.
