Job Title: Head Accountant

Location: Balintawak, Quezon City

Industry: Importer of Heavy Equipment, Trucks, Buses, and Tires

Salary Range: ₱30,000 – ₱40,000 (depending on experience and skills)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Head Accountant to lead the company's accounting operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting management in decision-making through accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as an Accountant
  • CPA license is a plus
  • Experience in banking operations is a plus
  • Strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and auditing
  • Proficient in accounting systems and MS Office applications
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements
  • Develop and maintain internal financial controls and procedures
  • Coordinate with auditors, banks, and government agencies as needed
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support management decisions
  • Supervise and guide accounting staff

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php40,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Quezon City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
