Job Title: Legal Secretary
Location: Makati
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and format legal documents including correspondence, pleadings, contracts, and reports
- File documents with courts and government agencies (both electronically and physically)
- Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate court dates and deadlines
- Answer and direct phone calls, greet clients, and handle general administrative tasks
- Maintain and organize client files and records, both digital and physical
- Assist with billing and time entry
- Perform other duties as assigned to support attorneys and legal staff
Requirements:
- College graduate
- 1–2 years of experience as a legal secretary or in a similar administrative legal role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management software
- Familiarity with legal terminology, court procedures, and legal documents
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
