Key Responsibilities

  • Regulatory Compliance & Business Permits
  • Manage preparation, submission, and renewal of permits, licenses, and registrations with LGUs and national agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain updated database of permits and renewal deadlines.
  • Contract Review & Management
  • Draft, review, and revise contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
  • Ensure contracts comply with laws and company policies.
  • Maintain a contract tracking and monitoring system.
  • Corporate Registration & Governance
  • Handle corporate registration and SEC compliance (incorporation, amendments, reporting, annual filings).
  • Support corporate governance (board resolutions, secretarys certificates).
  • Supervision & Leadership
  • Supervise and mentor legal assistants/paralegals.
  • Conduct training and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with other departments for legal support.
  • Advisory & Risk Management
  • Provide legal advice on compliance, regulatory, and contractual matters.
  • Identify and mitigate potential legal risks.
  • Coordinate with external counsels when needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) or Juris Doctor (J.D.)
  • 35 years experience in corporate legal practice, compliance, or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate, labor, contract
  • Experience with SEC, LGU permits processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
