About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse and Commissary Manager to join our team at Fun Han Mart', a leading retailer in the Philippines. In this full-time, on-site role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operations of our warehouse and commissary facilities in Western Bicutan, Taguig City.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and coordinate all warehouse and commissary activities, including inventory management, order fulfilment, space utilisation and staff supervision
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimise warehouse and commissary operations, improve productivity and reduce costs
  • Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of products to our retail stores in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and quality standards
  • Identify and resolve any operational issues or bottlenecks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the seamless flow of goods and information
  • Provide regular reports and analysis on warehouse and commissary performance
  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of warehouse and commissary personnel

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a warehouse or commissary management role, preferably in the retail or manufacturing industry
  • Proven track record of successfully optimising warehouse and commissary operations to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and analytical skills
  • Strong leadership and people management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and develop a team
  • Proficient in inventory management software and warehouse management systems
  • Familiarity with relevant health, safety and quality regulations in the Philippines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
