About the role

Wildflour Hospitality Group is seeking a talented and experienced Commissary Head to join our growing team in Greenhills, San Juan City Metro Manila. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of our central commissary, ensuring the consistent production and delivery of high-quality food products to our network of cafes.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage the daily operations of the commissary, including production scheduling, quality control, and inventory management
  2. Develop and implement efficient workflows and processes to maximise productivity and minimise waste
  3. Oversee the training and development of commissary staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional results
  4. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and menu items, and ensure their successful implementation in the commissary
  5. Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, as well as all relevant regulatory requirements
  6. Manage the commissary's budget, forecasting, and reporting to ensure financial targets are met
  7. Continually seek opportunities to improve the commissary's operations and drive innovation

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar commissary or central production facility role, preferably within the hospitality or food service industry
  2. Proven track record of successfully managing a high-volume, fast-paced commissary operation
  3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment
  4. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of skilled food production professionals
  5. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality
  6. Proficient in inventory management, budgeting, and financial reporting
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
