Key Responsibilities

Safety Compliance & Monitoring

  • Monitor and evaluate compliance with OSH standards in coordination with the Safety Supervisor.
  • Lead the inspection and tagging of all equipment, lifting gears, and fire extinguishers prior to deployment.
  • Ensure the operations group maintains good housekeeping and safe working conditions.
  • Execute company safety policies, rules, and programs proactively.

Safety Orientations & Meetings

  • Facilitate toolbox meetings in different project areas.
  • Promote safety awareness and reinforce compliance with safety rules and procedures.

Incident & Accident Management

  • Respond promptly to any accident or incident.
  • Conduct immediate safety investigations and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence.
  • Investigate all incidents, accidents, and near-misses and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance safety standards.

Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment

  • Identify hazards during regular safety inspections.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary corrective measures to prevent accidents.
  • Formulate and update Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Control (HIRAC) documents.

Other Duties

  • Perform tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Senior Safety Officer or Supervisor.
  • Support OSH program updates, policy improvement, and safety training initiatives.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (any field; engineering or technical courses an advantage)
  • At least
    1–2 years of experience
    in a safety-related role
  • Accredited Safety Officer with
    BOSH Training (SO2 qualified)
  • Experience in writing safety policies and procedures
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Team player with a sense of urgency and results-oriented mindset
