About the role

First Source Solutions Limited is seeking a driven and dedicated Certified Safety Officer 4 (SO4) to join our team as an Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) practitioner. This full-time position is based in Cebu Central Visayas and will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs and policies to meet all relevant Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) regulations and standards
  • Conducting regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  • Providing training and guidance to employees on safety best practices and emergency response procedures
  • Investigating and reporting on incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborating with management and other departments to continuously improve the company's safety performance
  • Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports on all safety-related activities and compliance measures

What we're looking for

  • Certified Safety Officer 4 (SO4) qualification or equivalent, with a strong background in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) practices
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an OSH practitioner, preferably in a similar industry
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills to effectively manage safety-related issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employees at all levels and promote a culture of safety
  • Proficient in using relevant safety management software and data analysis tools
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable OSH laws, regulations, and best practices
