Technical Sales Engineer

Job Summary:
The Sales Engineer is responsible for promoting and selling the company's manpower and technical staffing services to clients, particularly those in industrial, engineering, and technical sectors. This role combines technical knowledge with sales skills to understand client requirements, provide appropriate manpower solutions, and ensure client satisfaction through effective coordination with operations and recruitment teams.
Key Responsibilities:1. Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify, target, and engage potential clients in construction, manufacturing, engineering, and related industries.
- Present manpower and staffing solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Conduct site visits and meetings to understand clients' technical needs.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client accounts, ensuring quality service and client satisfaction.
- Monitor project status and manpower deployment to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Handle client concerns and coordinate with internal departments for quick resolution.
3. Technical & Operational Coordination
- Collaborate with the recruitment and operations teams to match technically qualified candidates with client requirements.
- Provide technical input and assist in candidate evaluation when needed.
- Ensure that all manpower proposals comply with client specifications and project requirements.
4. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, contracts, and sales activities.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses.
- Update management on competitor activities, industry trends, and potential opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial) or related technical field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in sales, preferably in manpower, engineering services, or technical industries.
- Strong technical understanding of industrial/manpower requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Must be willing to travel and conduct client visits as needed.
