Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance Management: Oversee the upkeep of office buildings, including HVAC systems, lighting, plumbing, and electrical systems. This involves coordinating regular maintenance schedules and addressing urgent repair needs.
  • Space Planning and Allocation: Manage office layouts, seating arrangements, and space utilization to accommodate the dynamic needs of BPO operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external service providers for janitorial, security, and technical services, ensuring that contracts are adhered to and service levels are maintained.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and monitor budgets for facility-related expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality or safety standards.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that the workplace complies with local regulations and company policies regarding health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Emergency Response Planning: Develop and implement emergency procedures, including evacuation plans and disaster recovery protocols, to safeguard employees and assets.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Promote energy-efficient practices and sustainability efforts within the facility, such as waste reduction and resource conservation.
Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree (any field) or equivalent work experience
  • Experience: Previous experience in facilities management, preferably within a BPO or similar fast-paced environment, is advantageous.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in using facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite is often required.
  • Certifications: Certifications in facilities management or safety standards can be beneficial.
