JOB SUMMARY: The Accounting Specialist will work to ensure all billing & collections, AP, Treasury functions of the company are carried out well. They will be involved in all aspects of accounting including financial accounting, and compliance and other related duties as assigned. As someone in a senior role, the employee must also act as team lead of accounting analysts to ensure the department's duties are carried out while mentoring junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly AP Aging report for unpaid dues and payable confirmation
  • Determine priority for invoice payments and support the procurement team in maximizing credit terms
  • Identify and monitor overdue and key accounts
  • Ensure availability of resources to carry out B&C and AP functions
  • Oversee the processing and accounting of cash disbursements
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation of book balances
  • Prepare daily Cash Position reports and periodic cash flow statements and as needed
  • Ensure good working setup with banks and relevant bank facilities
  • Ensure proper substantiation of expenses
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective and efficient working capital management
  • Perform and lead ad-hoc tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related course
  • At least three years of experience in Accounting/Finance
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other MS Applications
  • Keen attention to details and strong analytical skills
  • Can work on-site 5 days/week in Mandaluyong City

  • Can communicate effectively and efficiently

  • SAP Business One required
