Business Development Manager

Job Description
Responsible for driving growth by identifying and pursuing viable business opportunities in the power sector. The role involves leading project development from concept to commercial operations, including financial modeling, due diligence, and stakeholder engagement. This position requires close collaboration with internal teams, external partners, regulators, and customers to ensure projects are successfully implemented within the planned timeline and deliver sustainable value. The role also contributes to shaping departmental strategies, builds strong industry networks, and provides coaching and guidance to junior team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of managerial experience in business development or an equivalent role.
- Extensive working experience in developing power plants across various technologies and with deep knowledge of the Philippine power industry.
- Strong skills in strategy formulation, business origination, corporate finance and valuation, project management, change management and risk assessment.
- Proven ability in building networks and relationships with key industry stakeholders.
