Implementing the company's new brand and supporting the long-term growth of the company's overall brand image, identity, messaging, and reputation in line with our target audience and the wider seafood industry. This role works across multiple channels, including digital, social media, advertising, and print, collaborating with other departments and senior leadership to align marketing and communications efforts with strategic business goals. The role is a combination of strategic planning, asset development, campaign development and execution, and impact analysis to drive both brand awareness and business growth.

The Brand Manager is critical in promoting our commitment to, and market leadership with, clean, responsible, and traceable seafood. The role will be helping to keep the company brand consistent through all company changes and mergers to ensure effectiveness and impact of our new brand identity. This includes the execution of an evolving marketing and communications strategy that is fit for purpose and is closely aligned with the direction of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Brand Strategy: Execute the marketing and communications plan, providing insights for improvements that align with business goals and target audiences to support growing impact throughout the evolution of the company.
  • Brand Identity: maintain a strong and consistent overarching brand identity across all platforms and materials. This includes visual identity, brand positioning, key messaging, and impact testing.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitoring and analyzing the brand team and campaign performance, identifying and relaying areas for improvement, and reporting on key metrics.
  • Content Creation: Develop content and messaging for relevant platforms, target audiences, and other various marketing materials.
  • Visual Communication: translate ideas, messages, and information into visually appealing and easily understood formats for various audiences to ensure clarity and impact in communication.
  • Social Media Management: Manage social media presence, namely LinkedIn, and engagement to build a strong online community and drive awareness and understanding of the brand.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee design, execution, and analysis of marketing campaigns, namely through Zoho.
  • Market Research: Conduct regular research to identify market trends, target audience preferences, competitor activity, and latest news updates to inform our marketing strategy.
  • Standing Out from Competitors: Create unique and effective brand elements and messaging to help the organization differentiate itself in the marketplace and capture the attention of its target audience.
  • Saving Time and Resources: Efficiently produce design materials and maintain brand consistency without the need to outsource design.
  • Other Duties as Assigned Impact in the Role (Success/Failure): When this role is executed successfully, it ensures that staff and customers alike understand the company's brand value and competitive advantage, that our Brand & Social Impact work is as a business driver and revenue generator, and that our brand is widely recognized in the industry for our leadership in clean label, sustainable, responsible, and traceable seafood products. A failure in this role will lead to inconsistencies in our brand identity and messaging, misalignment with our target audiences, and an obstruction of success against our strategic business goals.

Experience:

  • 5+ years experience with marketing and/or communications for a brand that operates in the US market, ideally in food systems, or a relevant degree.
  • The ability to develop a strategic marketing and communications plan that aligns with overall business goals, measures success over time, and effectively reports impact.
  • Experience working on a wide range of projects and media to visualize and develop innovative designs and/or messaging that meet business goals.
  • Demonstrated experience with project management, meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects effectively.
  • An ability to analyze data, identify trends, and adapt to changing market conditions and business needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an effective communicator to build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver impact.
  • Ability to obtain input from and work effectively with team members across the company to ensure designs meet organizational standards and brand style guide expectations, express ideas accurately, and effectively represent the company.
  • Experience developing and refining brand guidelines and/or messaging to ensure consistency and impact.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels and tools.
  • Demonstrated experience with internal communications, including intranet web pages, presentations, documents, etc. to effectively communicate the company's brand identity and work.
  • Experience collaborating to create sales presentations, materials, and campaigns is highly preferred.
  • Creative problem-solver to address challenges and spur innovation in marketing solutions, strategies, and campaigns
  • Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with other team members and external partners to meet deadlines.
  • A continuous learner who is committed to staying up to date and presenting ideas to address industry best practice, the latest technology, and competitor advantage in the marketplace.
  • Technical proficiency and expertise in design software (Adobe Creative Suite), content management systems, and project management tools
  • An in-depth working knowledge of seafood or food supply chains, including stakeholders, opportunities, and risks, is a plus.
  • Open to work in US/night shift and onsite/hybrid in Makati
