We are looking for a strategic, detail-oriented, and creative
Brand Manager

who will lead the development, management, and consistent implementation of the organization's brand identity. This role is central to strengthening our visibility, ensuring alignment across all communication efforts, and building a recognizable and trusted presence across local, regional, and global platforms.

The candidate will work in a multicultural environment and gain significant learnings of the creative and development sector.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop, refine, and manage the organization's brand strategy, visual identity, and messaging framework.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive brand guidelines across all communication and program touchpoints.
  • Lead brand planning for campaigns, major events, visibility initiatives, and organizational milestones.
  • Conduct periodic brand audits to assess consistency and recommend improvements.

Communication & Visibility

  • Oversee the creation of branded communication materials, including social media assets, reports, presentations, brochures, and digital content.
  • Provide brand direction for advocacy, fundraising, and program campaigns.
  • Ensure all external communications are aligned with organizational values, tone, and identity.
  • Guide visibility strategies for both global and regional audiences.

Creative Coordination & Quality Oversight

  • Collaborate with designers, writers, multimedia specialists, and external agencies to ensure creative outputs reflect brand standards.
  • Review and approve communication and creative materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Provide feedback and direction on creative concepts, visual styles, and messaging.
  • Ensure all content is culturally sensitive, audience-appropriate, and aligned with international NGO communication norms.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with internal teams to provide brand guidance, templates, toolkits, and messaging support.
  • Coordinate with program leads, regional teams, and partner organizations to ensure unified brand representation.
  • Manage external suppliers (printers, designers, production firms) to ensure brand quality across outsourced materials.

Research & Insights

  • Track branding, communication, and digital trends within the NGO/development sector to inform brand evolution.
  • Conduct research on audience behavior, competitor brands, and visibility benchmarks.
  • Use insights to refine brand messaging, design approaches, and content strategies.

Expectations

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience

in brand management, communications, marketing, or visual identity roles.
- Strong proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Solid understanding of branding principles, communication strategy, and audience engagement.
- Proficient in creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma a plus).
- Strong project management, decision-making, and quality assurance skills.
- Creative, highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident working in a cross-cultural environment and collaborating across teams.
- Can deliver high-quality outputs within time constraints.
