About the role
As a Customer Service Specialist at Gothong Southern Shipping Lines, Inc., you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service to our clients. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for handling inbound calls, responding to customer inquiries, and providing tailored solutions to address their needs. This is a full-time position based in our office in Manila City, Metro Manila.
What you'll be doing
- Answering and handling inbound customer calls in a friendly and professional manner
- Actively listening to customer concerns and questions, and providing timely and accurate responses
- Troubleshooting issues and working closely with other departments to find suitable resolutions
- Updating customer records and documentation in the customer relationship management (CRM) system
- Identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience and suggesting improvements to processes
- Adhering to company policies and procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality service
- Collaborating with the team to share best practices and provide support as needed
What we're looking for
- At least 2 years of experience in a customer service or call centre role, preferably within the shipping or logistics industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt your approach to different customer personalities
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to effectively address customer concerns
- Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant IT systems
- A customer-centric mindset and a genuine passion for providing a high level of service
- Fluency in both English and Filipino, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
