Position: EHS Officer

Job Summary: The EHS Officer is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies, standards, and regulations at the workplace. This role safeguards employee well-being protects company assets and ensures adherence to local laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Conduct incident investigations, prepare reports, and track corrective actions.
  • Conduct toolbox meetings, safety orientations, and EHS training for employees.
  • Also, monitor environmental aspects such as waste management, water, and energy usage.
  • Ensure compliance with DOLE, DENR, LGU, and other government regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain EHS documentation (permits, reports, training records, accident logs, etc.).
  • Assist in emergency response planning and conduct safety drills.
  • Promote safety culture and employee awareness across all levels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering graduate or related field.
  • Preferably a DOLE-accredited Safety Officer. Minimum, BOSH SO2.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in EHS, preferably in [manufacturing/logistics/ construction etc.].
  • Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) and relevant regulations.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Physically fit and able to conduct field inspections.
