KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
(The listed duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following key areas and performance indicators)
1. Environmental Management
- Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with environmental regulations (DENR, NWRB, etc.).
- Submit quarterly Self-Monitoring Reports (SMR) via the DENR online portal.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous waste.
- Coordinate with environmental regulatory agencies to ensure adherence to standards.
2. Occupational Health
- Monitor employees' health conditions and coordinate with the Head Office and VisMin Occupational Nurse.
- Maintain clinic and lactation room facilities, ensuring availability of emergency kits and medical supplies.
- Provide occupational health training and awareness programs for employees.
- Assist in the rehabilitation and reintegration of workers after accidents or illnesses.
- Maintain accurate records of health-related programs and incidents.
3. Safety & Facility Management
Policy, Hazard Control & Safety Oversight
- Develop and implement workplace safety policies, ensuring compliance with DOLE-BWC, DOH, BFP, PNP, and internal standards.
- Conduct inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments for facilities and work areas.
- Oversee chemical safety, including MSDS communication and safe handling.
- Inspect and maintain fire safety equipment, ensuring certification and readiness.
- Ensure availability and proper use of PPE.
Facility Safety & Maintenance
- Oversee the cleaning, repairs, and maintenance of facilities (floors, walls, restrooms, and common areas).
- Conduct inspections to ensure consumables are replenished and maintenance issues are promptly addressed.
- Initiate job orders for necessary repair or maintenance work and supervise preventive and remedial facility works (painting, carpentry, plumbing, tiling, etc.), ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Recommend facility improvement projects with cost estimates and technical requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and generate reports on downtime, trends, and budgets.
Administrative Department

- Develop and manage facility maintenance budgets, prioritizing safety-critical needs and cost-saving opportunities.
- Training, Emergency Preparedness & Incident Response
- Provide training on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and safe work practices.
- Develop and implement emergency preparedness and response plans.
- Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and unsafe conditions, recommending corrective actions.
- Lead and participate in Emergency Response Teams (Evacuation and First Aid).
Security & Monitoring
- Act as Site Security Officer, implementing site security protocols and controls in coordination with the Branch Manager and Plant Manager.
- Oversee installation, monitoring, and maintenance of CCTV and security systems.
- Monitor CCTV to detect incidents and maintain accurate incident records.
- Investigate security breaches or thefts and coordinate with law enforcement.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with safety and security standards.
4. Administrative & Compliance
- Liaise with government agencies (DOLE, DENR, DOH, BFP, PNP, AFP, NWRB) to ensure compliance.
- Renew and update all required permits on time.
- Act as Nodal Officer for the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) team.
- Facilitate monthly EHS Committee meetings, ensuring issues are addressed and resolved.
- Prepare weekly facility and maintenance reports.
- Monitor and manage costs for facility repairs, maintenance, and projects.
PROJECTS, COMMITTEES, STRETCH ASSIGNMENTS:
- Emergency Response Team – Evacuation
- Facilitate safe and orderly evacuation during drills and emergencies.
- Assist in planning and executing evacuation drills, identifying improvements.
- Conduct checks of emergency equipment (fire extinguishers, alarms, exits).
- Monitor evacuation processes to ensure full clearance of premises.
- Stay updated on emergency response protocols and participate in regular training.
- Emergency Response Team – First Aid
- Provide immediate first aid until professional medical support arrives.
- Maintain availability and readiness of first aid kits and supplies.
- Keep certifications and knowledge of first aid protocols current.
- Work closely with evacuation and emergency responders for coordinated response.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php19, Php25,000.00 per month
